Editorial policy

How we research, review and publish content about stuttering — and what we will not do.

StutterFlow is a small editorial team building practice tools and educational content for people who stutter. We are moving clinical review to named reviewer profiles; pages with professional review will show that reviewer clearly in the article header.

We use evidence from peer-reviewed clinical research, public clinical sources such as ASHA, NIDCD and NHS, and lived-experience input from the stuttering community. Where evidence is mixed, we say so. Where it is absent, we do not invent it.

We do not promise a cure. Stuttering is not curable for most adults, but it is highly manageable. We refuse content that frames stuttering as a defect, a personal failure or a problem to be hidden.

We do not accept paid placement, sponsored reviews or affiliate revenue from medications or speech-therapy services. The only commercial product on this site is the StutterFlow app, and it is clearly marked.

Every article carries an updated date and source list. If a page has clinical review, it carries a named reviewer line. If you find an error, write to us at support@stutterflow.com — we publish corrections in the open.
